Unique art pricing

Art could be ridiculous. Also art could be pricey. These two sentences perfectly describe the art ” masterpiece by Mark Rothko” sold on Sotheby’s auction for whopping $46.5 million. This painting is famous under “Untitled (Yellow and Blue)”.

Mark Rothko completed this paint in 1954. It’s 242 cm × 186 cm oil on canvas. It’s not easy to understand the art, especially abstraction art. For many (including me) it’s crazy piece of art that even kid can repeat. But art collectors think differently. Art is a safe investment and great way of investment portfolio diversification.
