Most people don’t understand the advantage of being born in country with high GDP and standard of living. But it’s a huge advantage. Child born in Singapore will be more likely to became successful adult because of availability of resources and access to essential services. But for child born in South Sudan (the newest county in the world) even schooling will be a big challenge. In developed countries people take for granted most of things. People from the poorest countries don’t have enough resources to utilize their potential to the maximum.

Quality of Life Index (higher is better) is an estimation of overall quality of life. Key components: purchasing power index (higher is better), pollution index (lower is better), house price to income ratio (lower is better), cost of living index (lower is better), safety index (higher is better), health care index (higher is better), traffic commute time index (lower is better) and climate index (higher is better). In 2021 index only 80 countries available. Most of nations with low living standards are not included in this index.
