Internet on Moon? Now this will be reality because Nokia was awarded $14.1million contract to build a 4G network on Moon. As world move towards 5G connection, Nokia will upgrade 4G to 5G (or even 6G) after sometime.

The 4G Moon network will be reliable, fast speed and will enable more data transfer. 4G network will be used by astronauts, vehicles and by residents of upcoming Moonbase.

The mission-critical LTE network we have developed has been specially designed to withstand the extreme temperature, radiation and vacuum conditions of space, as well as the sizable vibrational impact during launch and landing on the lunar surface.

It’s unbelievable. 4G on Moon and sometimes 3G in Mumbai Metropolitan Area. Interesting time we live.
