Sometimes it’s needed to take a few days off from blogging. I love blogging but I need to give myself time to experience more things outside of my job. This is the reason why for last a few days I did not post any long or research articles.
I’ve been blogging for last 250 days everyday (sometimes two post per day) and I feel that I run out of desire to write. In this situation the best solution is to take rest and concentrate on other activities. For example today I met my friends after long seven months. And this experience is worth of enjoying.
Time off makes us more productive. More productive = higher quality content. To prevent burnout it’s always advisable to recognise first signs of burnout:
- Work takes longer to complete.
- No inner satisfaction after task completed.
- Tiredness even after good night sleep.
- You feel stressed out without any strong reason.
- Headache.
- Lethargic mood.
- Sudden decrease in family and friends life.
Obviously there’s more signs of burnout but I’ve listed the main a few. There’s 5 main stages of burnout:
- Honeymoon phrase. You feel excited about things.
- On-set of stress.
- Chronic stress.
- Burnout.
- Habitual burnout.
In order to prevent burnout build-up I’ve learn to identify first burnout signs and take a few days off. This works as a magic.
