People love to overthink basic situations which will not have influence on their future. Here’s a few ways how to deal with it:
- Ask yourself simple question “will it matter after 1 year?” If the answer is yes than ask “will it matter in 5 years?”. Rare situation will matter to you long time.
- Ask yourself “is it worth of my time and nerves?” 99% it not worth of your time.
- Mostly overthinking it’s a by-product of fear. But fear it’s just a state of mind.
- You can’t control everything in life. Life will be boring if everything goes due to your plan.
- Follow nutritionally balanced diet. If your body missing important nutrients than anxiety, low self-esteem, doubts will be reality
- Don’t take close to your heart others problems.
- Start telling “no” to requests. By this you will avoid tension inside yourself when you do something what you don’t want to do.
- If you feel like you are back to useless overthinking than make for yourself cup of coffee (tea) and read book / blog. After this get ready for workout to get endorphins.
Overthinking is a killer of happiness and ability to enjoy the moment.
